Helping Hands Volunteers was founded in early 2019 as an organized group of enthusiastic volunteers before becoming a full fledging common interest group in January 2022. In the last three years, we have focused on uplifting children, youth and women by improving their environment where boys, girls and the rest of the community could reach their best potential.
Our mission is to build a Helping Hands campsite at Makongeni village that will later on branch out across south coast Kenya. We believe in networking with partners and collaborators both in the country, and abroad to help many more have hope and equip them with resources towards a better life ahead.
The flagship project of Helping Hands Volunteers is to establish an all-purpose campsite. Helping Hands Volunteers has earmarked a 2 acre plot in the same village
just a kilometer from the current operational base. The construction will begin as soon as the necessary support from donors is available.
