Henrico Justice

We are a student-led activism organization addressing racial and socioeconomic inequities in Henrico County. Our group is composed of members representing different racial, socioeconomic, and high school backgrounds throughout the county. We have held four successful protests amounting over hundreds of supporters, had multiple meetings with the county School Board and Superintendent, brought about the formation of citizen review boards, discussions of PTA partnerships between East-West schools, code of conduct changes, equitable redistricting policies, reformation of county-sponsored Equity Ambassador program, and a coalition of education reform groups addressing topics of diversifying literature and curriculum to building up black youth. Our goal is to create an equitable environment within HCPS and advocate for the marginalized communities within Henrico County.
