Our Mission is to be a gateway with resources for students who are neglected, homeless, or underprivileged. We have multiple partners and locations where these children can find the necessary information to help improve their current living situation. We provide safe and trustworthy places for children to contact and connect with in order to help their current situation, whatever it may be. The poverty rate in Howard County has sharply increased after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Because of this, many families were made homeless, and it's become increasingly difficult to bounce back. It is crucial, now more than ever, that children are made aware of the help they can receive, and that they shouldn't be afraid of taking advantage of the resources made available to them.
