Herone

herone develops and produces composite profiles to bring outstanding composite performance into serial application. Our customer value is an enhanced cost to performance ratio achieved by automated processing and a simplified, more robust part composite design. herone is a spin-off from the Technical University Dresden founded in May 2018. We are ramping up our own manufacturing capabilities in 2020 to be production ready in 2021. Our technological core is the herone technology. We combine textile processing with advanced press forming to produce profile-shaped composite components. In contrast to today's composite profiles we exclusively process thermoplastic composites. They enable a simplified part design with integrated functionality and can be processed within minutes. With struts, shafts and pipes we focus on the next generation lightweight solutions to transfer loads, movements and fluids.
