Het Filiaal maakt jeugdtheater voor iedereen van 4 tot 104 jaar. En dat doen we op zo'n manier dat er voor volwassenen net zo veel te genieten valt als voor kinderen. We spelen in grote en kleine theaterzalen, op bijzondere (buiten)locaties en voor kleuters ook op scholen. Je kunt ons vinden in Het Filiaaltheater in het Utrechtse Blauwkapel. In ons multifunctionele pand maken we en spelen we. Dagelijks met ons eigen team en regelmatig met gastmakers en -acteurs, leerlingen en leerkrachten/ docenten van diverse scholen. Het artistieke team bestaat uit artistiek directeur Monique Corvers en componist Gábor Tarján. In hun werk brengen ze professionele acteurs, muzikanten en beeldend kunstenaars samen. De dynamiek, liefdevolle precisie en humor waarmee spel, livemuziek, dans, zang, gebarentaal en (video)beelden worden geïntegreerd, is uitgegroeid tot het handelsmerk van het gezelschap. We reisden de wereld rond van o.a. Broadway NY (VS) naar Sydney Opera House (Australië) en Shanghai. En ontvingen meerdere (inter)nationale prijzen. Het Filiaal theatermakers is a professional theatre company for families and elementary schoolchildren based in the Dutch city of Utrecht. Our work encompasses theater productions for large and small venues, theatrical concerts and site specific theater. Meticulously prepared art projects for schools accompany all of our shows. The projects are designed to give children a comprehensive introduction to every facet of theatre and invite them to explore their own creative potential. The artistic team consists of artistic director Monique Corvers and composer Gábor Tarján. In their work they bring together professional actors, musicians and visual artists. The dynamism, precision and sense of humor with which text, music, acting and visuals are integrated, has come to be the trademark of the company. Our productions are performed in cities all over the Netherlands and all over the world. From Sydney to Shanghai, from New York to Rome.
