Heznek L’Atid aims to give young people in Israel, no matter their background or socioeconomic status, the right to fulfill their personal potential in higher education, employment and in society. Founded in 2000, Heznek enables youth and young adults to close devastating educational and social gaps and inspires them to change their life outcomes. Heznek develops and implements innovative educational programs that provide young people from disadvantaged population groups in all sectors with tools and skills for personal advancement and with vital opportunities to attain socioeconomic mobility. Heznek tackles educational inequality, meets national needs and is creating a more equitable, just and resilient Israel.
Today, Heznek runs 7 major programs from high school drop-out prevention to higher education and practical engineering. Heznek serves over 12,000 students in 300 locations each year and has more than 28,000 graduates.
