High Strain Dynamic’s capabilities currently focus on engineering services to support the development of products, materials and structures subjected to high strains or large deformations. To achieve this, our innovative staff is outfitted with the latest computer software for finite element analysis, solid modeling, composite failure analysis, composite constitutive modeling, composite micromechanics and numerical and symbolic computational analysis, all running on high performance multi-core Intel Xeon workstations.
We excel at large deformation nonlinear analysis of composite structures, predicting buckling and post-buckling behaviors, predicting accurate stresses and strains and predicting failure. We are well versed in modeling the nonlinear elastic and viscoelastic behaviors of carbon fibers and their matrix materials in tension, compression and shear.
