Hill Valley Energy was born from our desire to change the way we think, develop & manufacture commercial mechanical cooling systems. The revolutionary systems we co develop, design & manage ensure a positive impact on Candaian businesses & communities. Despite advancements in technology, cost effective solutions had yet to be adopted by large scale manufacturers for refrigeration and mechanical cooling. With revenue-driven manufacturing processes, end users continue to face high upfront equipment costs with a lifetime of unnecessary service calls and use of harmful refrigerants. At Hill Valley Energy, our innovative approach to energy optimization, via The Oxford Low Pressure Platform, allows clients to realize reduction of utility bills by an avg. of 60% with a ROI in 2 years or less. Recently Vanessa Meats, a well-known mid-size grocery store, replaced their existing problematic legacy refrigeration systems, and retrofitted their store with The Oxford LPP to save on rising energy and service costs, while ensuring food consistency. The results? A 77% cost reduction in utilities with no service calls in over 2 years. We also recently retrofitted Paris Curling Club’s Ice Plant to achieve a 66% reduction in energy consumption and $15,000 in maintenance savings. We implemented a simpler system architecture that eliminated unnecessary components and added advanced IOT controls to operate more efficiently and consistently. We also eliminated the danger that comes with traditional ammonia based systems, which has caused many Canadian communities to experience onsite injuries and fatalities from ammonia leaks. We are proud of how we reduce the CO2 footprint in Canada, but more can be done. While driven to change the way commercial mechanical cooling systems work, we believe every Canadian should have access to healthy food, always. With each upgrade, we donate 1,000 meals to Food Banks of Canada to eliminate food insecurity – one meal and one community at a time.
