Himalayan Health Center Foundation (HHCF) is a not for profit organization that exists to provide quality health care to the medically underserved in the rural Indo-Tibetan borderlands region of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
We share a clear vision for continuing excellence built around four key concepts: Tradition, Innovation, Adaptation, and Collaboration.
Himalayan Health Center has developed a network of small clinics in the region, five of which are already established and fully operational. Two serve the remote regions of Ladakh and Spiti. The other three have been established within existing institutions in Manali and Dharamsala to provide children with preventative health care and health education. HHCF provides the medicines, supplies, equipment, and staffing needed to serve the thousands of rural and nomadic people who are in dire need of basic healthcare. Each year we provide health care services to more than 3,000 people.
