"Himba Eco-Village" motivates the local population to help themselves with ideas, advice and cooperation. Education is an important tool for improving living conditions in the long term and therefore kindergartens and schools are supported. Another important element is self-sufficiency with filling and healthy food, which is supported with instructions for building Keyhole Gardens. Education and self-sufficiency are only possible if drinking water is available. Together with the local population, the aim is to build solar-powered groundwater pumps and water reservoirs.
