The Crown Hill Cemetery was established in 1906 as the first cemetery in the City of Pasadena Texas. Now 116 years later it is a State of Texas Historical Cemetery. It is maintained by the Crown Hill Cemetery Association, a group of dedicated volunteers that take time to maintain the cemetery and give tours explaining the history of the people buried here. These people were farmers, ranchers, business people that made Pasadena what it is today. Our volunteers work several thousand hours a year giving back to remember the families that are buried here. Each year, several events are held at the cemetery such as "Voices of the Past" where we find information about the people buried here and invite visitors to come by and our volunteers portray the person buried and tell their life story and how life has changed through the years.
