HIVA profiles itself as the Research Institute for Work and Society. HIVA specialises in academic and policy-oriented research. It is a multidisciplinary research of the KU Leuven (University of Leuven). It was set up almost 40 years ago.
At HIVA, we deliberately opt for research that can provide a very specific response to the topical issues for civil organisations and for policy-makers. We seek to carry out research that works!
