Hive Huddersfield CIC is an award winning business for good, based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Serving the community with our place based service through Hive Cafe, offering a safe space for individuals, organisations and voluntary groups to meet in a friendly and welcoming environment. Hive Cafe serves vegan, vegetarian and GF breakfasts, brunches, lunches and sweet treats along with a range of ethically sourced coffee and teas.
Hive manages a number of projects;
Hive supports a number of volunteers who may have additional needs with employability skills training and helping to tackle those feeling lonely and isolated due to poor access to work or volunteer opportunities.
Hive Youth is a weekly place based social meet up for young people from the LGBTQ+ community aged 13-17. With over 15 weekly attendees the group is vibrant and a great way in which young people can come together to support each other.
Hive manages a number of wellbeing projects and offers weekly drop ins for adults to access peer support.
Our monthly LGBTQ+ adult social meets on the last Friday of every month and offers a sober space for people to connect, to tackle isolation and loneliness and meet new people.
September 2023 a new Wellbeing Hub has been launched - supporting men and women with extended peer support, creative activities and advisory sessions.
