Hoos in Treble Overview

Hoos in Treble is a nationally acclaimed all-treble a capella group at the University of Virginia. Founded in 1999, the principles of quality musicianship, enthusiastic and diverse talent, and a commitment to distinguished performances guide us in all we do, from concerts to gigs and album production. Hoos in Treble has been recognized by Best of Collegiate A Capella (BOCA) and Contemporary A Capella Recording Awards (CARA), but also by our close-knit university community. We are proud to perform as part of Rotunda Sing, Dorm Sings, and Lighting of the Lawn, in addition to other university events and gigs in the Charlottesville area. At our core, we are a group of passionate, talented, hardworking young women that come together to create music together. As an entirely student-run group, each of our members contributes hours of their time to the betterment of our musicality, reach, and impact. In the last year, we have recorded and released our newest album, "Daydreams," and celebrated our 25th anniversary on Grounds with our spectacular network of alumni, family, and friends.
