Hope Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Park City, Utah. Hope Alliance's mission is to provide hope and vision for all by providing sustainable support to underserved communities in Utah and around the world.
Vision is the most dominant of our senses and is vital in every aspect of life. When people cannot see, they cannot fully engage with family and friends and often lose critical human connection.
What follows is the inability to connect in the classroom and colleagues at work. Reading and taking part in activities becomes difficult or impossible. It can ultimately lead to education and employment below a person's true capability. At its most tragic, it can lead to life-long dependence. From education to healthcare to employment, giving people good vision gives them a chance.
Hope Alliance transforms the lives of community members in Utah, Guatemala, Uganda, and Mexico. Our Vision Centers live in Park City & Moab, Utah. With our partners, we are also building a permanent Vision Center in Uganda. In our 25+ years of service, we have brought hope to thousands of people around the world.
Our dedicated volunteers change lives and power our mission in a variety of ways. If you would like to volunteer your time, we would love to see you at one of our Utah Vision Screenings, Utah Vision Clinics or on an International Expedition. No specific skills are needed, and training is available. We especially welcome volunteer eye doctors and optical professionals to join us!
