What sort of Yoga is it? All of our classes are 45 minute Hot Vinyasa Flow. Your instructor will teach and demonstrate a sequence of movements and encourage you to use your breath to really get the most out of the class.
How is the studio heated? Our studio is heated to 40 degrees using the latest FAR infrared heating technology, which has many health promoting benefits. It can be helpful for enhancing blood circulation, reducing pain, strengthening the cardiovascular system and has sleep promoting benefits.
Is the studio clean? YES VERY! FAR infrared heating is the cleanest way to heat a studio as it has antibacterial qualities. Humidity in the studio is maintained at a fresh feeling 50% and twice an hour the air in the studio is changed. Anti bacterial wipes are used after every session and twice a day the studio floor is wiped clean, David the Hot Yoga manager is obsessed with cleanliness!
Do I need to be bendy flexible and thin? NO! Hot Yoga is for every BODY of EVERY ability.
Are there showers? Yes 4 outside the studio 3 in the basement
Do You provide Towels? Yes £1 for a large one £0.50p for a small one, or feel free to bring your own but ours are quite fluffy!
What do I wear? Wear comfortable clothing that is neither too tight nor too baggy, leggings, shorts and t-shirts are just fine. Remember you are going to sweat so certain materials are more comfortable than others
What do I bring? Water bottle, towel, shampoo & body wash if required.
Should I eat beforehand, how much should I drink? It is advisable to not eat much in the two hours leading up to class but be sure not to arrive starving hungry and stay well hydrated before, during and after class.
Should I be nervous of the heat? Nope! it is completely normal to be a little nervous
