Hpt Tcp - Technology Collaboration Programme On Heat Pumping Technologies By Iea company information, Employees & Contact Information

The Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies (HPT TCP) is the foremost worldwide source of independent information and expertise on the environmental and energy conservation benefits of heat pumping technologies (including refrigeration and air conditioning). The Programme conducts high-value international collaborative activities to improve energy efficiency and minimise environmental impact. HPT TCP is a non-profit organisation in which participants in different countries cooperate in projects in the field of heat pumps and related heat pumping technologies such as air conditioning, refrigeration and working fluids (refrigerants). The aim is to accelerate the use of heat pumps in all applications where they can reduce energy use for the benefit of the environment. HPT TCP is one of approximately 40 agreements known as Technology Collaboration Programmes which operate under the International Energy Agency (IEA), which in turn is linked to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The members of the Programme are governments, represented by designated entities such as national agencies, public organisations or private companies. Management is carried out by an Executive Committee (ExCo) on which all member countries have representatives. Projects within HPT TCP are known as Annexes. Participation in an annex is an efficient way of increasing national knowledge, both in terms of the specific project objective, and of international information exchange and networking. Annex objectives can include research, development, deployment and dissemination of new technology. Market aspects are other examples of issues that can be highlighted in the projects. Any entity situated in a member country can participate in an Annex.
