Humane Society of Northwest Georgia Overview

At the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia, we are dedicated to providing care, compassion, and second chances to animals in need. Our shelter hosts approximately 130 dogs and 60 cats at any given time, with a mission to find them loving, forever homes. We rely on a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to ensure that every animal receives the attention and care they deserve. Currently, we adopt and find homes for around 700-800 animals a year. In addition to our lifesaving work for animals, we are committed to creating a strong sense of community. Through our volunteer programs, educational initiatives, and outreach events, we strive to involve people of all ages in making a difference.
