The Hamburg-based software company hsp has been in existence since 1991. hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH initially specialized in ERP software. When the GDPdU (principles of data access and verifiability of digital documents) were passed in 2001, hsp was the first company to develop a report-based archiving solution that can read GDPdU-compliant data from all types of external systems: Opti.List. At the end of 2008, it was decided that the transmission of an e-balance sheet via EDI would become mandatory. hsp responded to this with an in-house, future-oriented IT solution: Opti.Tax. The complete taxonomy solution now offers an unparalleled range of functions with a number of modules and interfaces: ▪ Preparation of the annual financial statements ▪ Disclosure to the Federal Gazette ▪ Preparation and transmission of the e-balance sheet to the tax authorities ▪ Transmission of the digital financial report to the banks (DiFin) ▪ Balance sheet rating via the interface to Creditreform ▪ Creation and maintenance of procedural documentation ▪ Creation and maintenance of an internal control system (ICS) ▪ Creation and maintenance of a tax compliance management system (TCMS) Today, new modules, functions and optimizations are regularly developed at the head office in Hamburg.
