Established in 1958, Hugong has become a world leading manufacturer of advanced Welding and Cutting equipment. As a key contributor to modern welding machine design, development and production, Hugong continues to strengthen its great reputation with unsurpassed product quality and consistency.
Whilst Hugong manufactures welders for many world renowned brands such as WIA, Lincoln and Esab, it is in their best interest to ensure their own machines remain at the front of the pack.
Product reliability, high machine duty cycles and great after sales support are a few of Hugong’s key strengths. Hugong employs over 100 staff, of which 150 are dedicated to research and development. All new products are designed and built to pass stringent global electrical safety and reliability standards. All products undergo thorough testing in an in-house CSA and TUV certified lab. This Includes LVD, EMC, PFC, IP, temperature, humidity, dust, vibration, shock and longevity testing. High speed camera monitoring of live welding is also undertaken during testing. All the products are approved by CE, GS, ROHS, REACH, SAA, CSA and CCC.
Hugong is fully equipped with advanced precision manufacturing equipment and operates flexible automated production lines. It is managed in accordance with lean manufacturing, 6S and KAIZEN. The design stages and manufacturing flow are efficiently controlled by ORACLE ERP and MES systems. Hugong has attained ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2008 and OHSAS 18000:2007 approval.
The Hugong factory is one of the largest of its kind, with 66,000 m2 of factory floor. Hugong thrives in maintaining close proximity to end-users and offers the best value welding and cutting equipment in its class.
