Human Library Singapore is a ground-up initiative which aims to provide a safe space for conversations. It is a place where real people, our ‘Human Books’, are available for conversations with participants, our ‘Readers’. We hope to be a place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered.
At our events, Readers pre-register and select the Human Books they wish to engage with. These dialogues occur in small groups, allowing Readers to explore the Human Books’ experiences through their questions. We encourage our Readers to approach these conversations with an open mind. Questions should stem from genuine curiosity and not be intended to provoke.
Our goal is to facilitate understanding, and build bridges between people from different walks of life. Join us in this unique journey of shared human experiences.
