Utrecht heeft een lange geschiedenis van diversiteit, sociaal-democratisch bestuur, sterke sociale initiatieven en maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen. In de afgelopen jaren is er in de stad een informeel netwerk van organisaties gegroeid dat, met Mensenrechten als gemeenschappelijk uitgangspunt, werkt aan gelijkheid en vooruitgang, voor iedereen in de stad. We noemen onszelf de Utrechtse Mensenrechtencoalitie.
We verbinden de activiteiten en ambities van de verschillende organisaties, om de inclusieve samenleving te versterken.
