We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to defending the inherent worth of all human beings and their right to safe and stable housing.
At the forefront of our mission “Humanizing Portland”, is the first initiative we are working on that addresses chronic homelessness in Portland, Oregon. The movement is based around a 45 minute documentary that delves into the authentic narratives of those experiencing homelessness and the reality of life for thousands of people within the Portland Community. “Humanizing Portland” documentary aims to be the catalyst for a citywide movement that brings a community of solidarity and prompts everyday Oregonians to become advocates for change. Through powerful storytelling, we hope to bring empathy back to the issue of homelessness and inspire action toward policy reform and demand systematic changes that will one day allow everyone to have a safe place to lay their head at night.
