Hunter’s Point Community Middle School is a NYC DOE public school that opened in Long Island City, Queens in 2013. Our school is based around the three core values of scholarship, creativity, and community. An inclusive approach to our diverse student population supports the well-being of every child. We believe that all young people have unique talents and points of view that are developed fully within a rigorous and caring learning environment.
We consistently ask our students to think critically in order to prepare them for college-preparatory high schools and ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to be successful in an ever-changing workforce and world.
