The Hunter Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Consortium is a unique collaboration of DFV and Homelessness specialist non-government services in the Hunter region NSW.

Collectively we service the catchments of: Cessnock, Dungog, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Singleton, and Upper Hunter.
The Consortium was established in May 2023, and employs a Regional Collaborations Coordinator. Prior to this the Hunter DFV sector did not have a coordinated regional approach to collaboration, advocacy, DFV prevention, and strengthening the capacity of DFV services in our region.
