An immersive 4-day hands-on event using cutting edge hydraulic training stations and a fundamentals-first based curriculum with maintenance technicians from around the country. If fluid power and hydraulic systems are new to you or you’ve been working in the field for a while, we’ve got training for you. Be warned – Your hands are going to get dirty. This is not a computer simulation classroom. We work on real equipment using real tools. We serve clients in a range of industries, including wood products, steel, paper, food, and manufacturing. For many customers, the Hydraulic Training NW, LLC hydraulics program is a required training for all members of their maintenance team. Scott McLoughlin started training classes in 1996 and has been building deeper and better curriculum as he has worked with over 1,500 students. The training has been field test and field approved as he has designed, repaired, and maintained thousands of components in hundreds of facilities. What started as a regional training school has evolved into a nationally recognized program running in a stand-alone facility just miles away from Portland’s PDX airport.
