In the Arizona Court of Appeals, Second District, the Rules of Procedure require filers to hyperlink any citations to the record on appeal. (Rule 13.1(a); Rule 31.11(a).
HyperCite® is a new, web-based software, that automatically creates hyperlinks between textual citations in a filer’s parent document (e.g. brief, petition, motion, etc.) to the document/item cited in the record on appeal. The record on appeal for HyperCite® linking purposes does not only include documents filed in the superior court (ROA). HyperCite® hyperlinks citations to documents/items filed in the Court of Appeals as well. These include transcripts, prior briefing and motions, extension requests, and etc.
