iFLED International Foreign Language Educators Association, founded in 2018, is based in İstanbul, Turkey, but has representatives all around the country and main cities in Europe, America and Asia. As a social and vocational initiative, iFLED was founded by a group of academicians and teachers to take actions towards raising awareness about the values, principles and better organization of teaching and learning foreign languages, mainly in Turkey, but globally at international level. The idea of founding an association stemmed from the needs felt in the field of work and study, and the great motivation to share and develop as teachers, academicians, learners and active world citizens.
