IAMBIC asbl is a Belgian organization and stands for "International Academy for Maintaining the Best Interest of the Child". The organization focuses on collecting existing and renewed expertise and experience to protect or restore the best interests of the child. We do this through knowledge diffusion, training and projects, on a national and international level. We also want to be a point of contact for professionals and government institutions that are involved in one way or another with children, especially after the family breakup.
From this organization we will have the International Congress "Protecting Familyties after separation" in Brussels in 2021, as the first project. There's more on the table. The consensus model, the collaborative expertise, the contact facilitator are our first priorities. But especially committed to contributing in an innovative, remedial and preventive way in a society where families are formed differently.
We want to use the existing network, knowledge, research and findings together with those and other professionals who can take responsibility in different disciplines and positions to:
children and parents to be able to protect or restore their interests and their mutual ties and contacts after the family break-up.
