I Am Ready Psychology Overview

Welcome to I Am Ready Psychology. I’m Trisna, a psychologist with an interest in the wellbeing and fulfilment of artists, performers, creatives and all those who follow their passions. I split my time between therapy and research. As well as assisting clients manage challenges of working in creative industries and life in general, I am also involved in research. I am trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy and mindfulness approaches and continue to train in acceptance commitment therapy and narrative therapy techniques. I value a collaborative approach in therapy and aim to “walk with my clients” and come to a holistic understanding of their life experience. I have a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology (Community). I am a Registered Psychologist with Australia Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society, College of Community Psychologists and The Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare. I have conducted individual and group therapy for depression, anxiety, grief and adjustment disorder, worked in a community program for men’s health as well as school settings. I have presented on the topic of wellbeing among artists of culturally and linguistically diverse background in Australia.
