ICARES, l’Institut pour la Compréhension, l’Anticipation et l’inteRvention en Environnement et Santé globale, vise à répondre aux problématiques en environnement et en santé globale à travers une approche plus intégrative et interdisciplinaire grâce à la prise en compte des sciences humaines et sociales.
ICARES est un projet collaboratif réunissant de nombreuses structures de recherche sous (co)tutelle de l'Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, dont la MSH-SUD qui soutient le dialogue inter/trans-disciplinaire. Il a été impulsé en partenariat avec le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montpellier (CHU), l'Ecole Supérieure d'Archicture de Montpellier (ENSAM) et Montpellier Mediterranée Métropole (3M). Il s'inscrit dans le cadre de l'initiative dynamique Med Vallée de la Métropole qui vise à faire de Montpellier un pôle mondial d'excellenceS en santé globale.

ICARES, the Institute for the Comprehension, Anticipation, and Intervention in Global Environment and Health, aims to address issues in global environment and health through a more integrative and interdisciplinary approach by incorporating the humanities and social sciences.
ICARES is a collaborative project bringing together numerous research structures under the (co)supervision of Paul-Valéry University Montpellier 3, including MSH-SUD, which supports inter/trans-disciplinary dialogue. It was initiated in partnership with the Montpellier University Hospital (CHU), the Montpellier School of Architecture (ENSAM), and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole (3M). This project is part of the dynamic Med Vallée initiative by the Métropole, which aims to make Montpellier a global center of excellence in global health.
