ICEA is an International Non-Governmental Organization basically for people involved in Community Education and Community Development.
Founded in 1974 and has members in all over the world i.e. U.S.A., Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Pacific. It has international office in Berlin, Germany.
The mission of ICEA is to promote community education as “the process that enables communities to take control of their development and enrichment through life-long learning. It energizes people and utilizes public, private and voluntary resources to build and enhance communities through the identification and meeting community’s needs.
It empowers people to make community decision and take community action”
