Iceland Symphony Orchestra is Iceland's only professional orchestra, situated in ReykjavĂk. The orchestra is Iceland's biggest cultural institution with almost 100 employees were 90 of them are musicians. The orchestra gives concerts from September through June, mostly on Thursday nights but also on weekends for families.
