At ICLC, we are focussing on the rights of indigenous communities. Our belief is that indigenous people should enjoy the same rights and opportunities as all other citizens, without any type of discrimination. We believe that their contribution in terms of knowledge of the culture and traditions has been disregarded for far too long. We also believe that we need to acknowledge and include their insights to address the problems that concern us all today.
Our work is concentrated on regaining the dignity of indigenous communities, using tools such as education, alternative income generation, sustainability, community-based ecology, and thus do our utmost to help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
