ICN is an arts and cultural event that was initiated by the Indonesian students of Nanyang Technological University (PINTU). Since its humble initiative in 2007, it has grown to be a professional student-run musical performance that brings a new perspective on Indonesian folklore and history to the Singapore community. It has been used as a platform to encourage cross-cultural understanding, nurture the committees’ talents and express appreciation of Indonesia’s culture. Through musical performances, ICN constantly strives to present the best of Indonesian arts, history and culture to its audience in Singapore. Up to date, ICN has successfully performed 11 shows and impressed more than 7,800 audiences. From year to year, ICN gives a fresh perspective to Indonesian culture that compels the audience to revisit their understanding of the culture.
