By removing roadblocks, enabling high-priority projects, and advocating for genomics as a conservation tool, iConserve empowers better decisions for species protection and ecosystem management. Recent collaborations spanned from - creating a high-quality genome of the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin to advance research | developing the first genomic atlas of gorillas to support reintroduction in the Republic of Congo | working with the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance using genomics to protect endangered lemur species, map the African elephant genome to combat poaching, and build the largest koala genomic pedigree database | partnering with NASA to combine genomics with space-based spectral imaging for global forest health monitoring. iConserve is more than a program.
