Founded in 1988, IECD is an international development organization with activities in fifteen countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asia.
IECD has been involved in projects in Lebanon since 1989 and has established 4 offices in Lebanon covering the whole country.
IECD’s key ambition is to develop youth employability through education and vocational training. We give beneficiaries the know-how to improve their standards of living, become responsible actors in their countries, and contribute to a more equal society.
Today we implement 13 projects that strengthen youth and vulnerable persons’ professional and social insertion in Lebanon through quality education, vocational training empowerment and supporting small and medium businesses.
