We are a group of passionate undergraduate students from Middlesex University Mauritius, affiliated with the world's largest technical professional organization - IEEE. With over 400,000 members in 160 countries, IEEE is dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Through highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities, IEEE inspires a global community to foster, expand, and share knowledge in various fields of technology.
At our student branch, we seek to provide opportunities for our fellow IEEE student and graduate members to meet and learn from each other and engage with professional IEEE members locally. We offer programs, activities, and professional networking opportunities that build critical skills outside of the classroom. We organize workshops, competitions, such as hackathons, and local and international conferences and webinars in the field of technology, computing, electronics, and robotics. Moreover, we mentor major IT activities of the university to support the development of technical expertise among students.
Our goal is to inspire, enable, empower and energize our student members to enhance their technical interests by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills. Join us in our mission to foster, expand, and share knowledge in technology, computing, electronics, and robotics.
