IEEE North Macedonia Section as part of the IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.
There are local chapters of most IEEE Societies within the Section, that host many technical activities and invited guest lectures that cover popular and latest technological advancements.
Currently there is only one student branch within the North Macedonia Section established at the Ss. Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje. The student branch organizes different kinds of activities including seminars, workshops, membership development presentations, and student paper competitions.
The SSCS Student Branch Chapter has received the 2022 SSCS Chapter with Best Pre-University Outreach Award, as well as the 2023 Region 8 SBC of the Year Award (medium sized SBC).
