The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur established in 1957 by the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, in its long eventful journey has constantly striven to live up to its motto, "आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु ववश्वत:" (Let noble thoughts come to me from all directions) by assimilating diverse ideas, people and beliefs into its academic life.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is situated in the heart of 191 acres pristineland DDUGU university campus with advance infrastructure-facilities. It is operational from its very first academic session, 2021-22 with B.Tech. programs in four branches – Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The institute is committed to enrich its faculty strength and quality in the all areas of engineering and technology via
