IFRoS at Eötvös Loránd University - Faculty of Informatics Overview

The Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS) is a 2-year joint master's degree program coordinated by the Universitat de Girona (UdG, Spain) together with Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE, Hungary) and the University of Zagreb (UNIZG, Croatia). The aim of the programme is to train a generation of professionals capable of developing and programming various robots and robotic systems that perform tasks in a diverse range of areas and respond intelligently to the environment. The technology for developing these systems comes from various research areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, control, perception, automatic learning and more, all under the rapid pace of development of the current digital revolution. Here at Eötvös Loránd University - Faculty of Informatics, we created a program oriented towards autonomous systems and self-driving land vehicles in Budapest, Hungary. The students go through courses such as Methods and Tools for AI Application, Introduction to Vehicles and Sensors, 3D Sensing and Sensor Fusion, a preparation course for Master Studies, but most importantly, they are working in the Intelligent Field Robotic lab. In this lab, the students are working on practical projects, focusing on various aspects of intelligent field robots' design and development. *** With the support of the Erasmus+ Programme ot the European Union. ***
