iGEM UZurich Overview
The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of synthetic biology, education and the development of an open community. Within this competition, iGEM UZH, University of Zürich’s competition team, aims to do also just that: To create a platform for students to exchange ideas, apply their theoretical knowledge on real-world problems, and strive for better solutions to given problems. Additionally, it is iGEM UZH’s goal to learn from and inspire people inside and outside of synthetic biology through outreach, education, and collaboration.
