Ignition Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization created to support a Youth program designed to deliver protective factors for mental health. Our mission is to nurture wellness and hope for the future by building skills, inner strength and connection to opportunities Hope for the future Young people participating in the program will be invited to elaborate and nurture a vision for the future and think about who they want to become. Building skills Our program creates a broad range of activities for youth to learn skills that are important for successfully transitioning to adulthood. Includes soft skills, intra-personnal skills as well as financial literacy and communication. Inner strengths Part of the program is based on self-discovery of personal strengths and virtues, as well as discovery of personal values. The rest of the program will help them to learn how to leverage their strengths. We value resilience, emotional intelligence and will provide education and a space for peer-to-peer relationships. Connection opportunities We are building a community that includes sponsors: business owners who will share their journey, talk about skill building and present workshops that will be open to the public.
