IIEST, Shibpur is the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. It's a public university in Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal. The university was founded in 1856 as the Calcutta Civil Engineering College. In 2014, the Government of India took over the university and renamed it IIEST, Shibpur.
