ILA Italy is the Italian branch of the International Law Association (ILA), a non-governmental organization whose scope is the dissemination and development of international law, both public and private.
The ILA is committed to bring together all interested in international law worldwide, from legal and mediation practice to the judiciary, academia, the business community and international organizations, both governmental and non-governmental .
ILA Italy was established in 1925. Its governing bodies are the President, the Secretary General and the Committee.
Besides cooperating with the other national branches for the achievement of the ILA aims, ILA Italy is engaged in organising conferences and training initiatives with a view to promoting the knowledge of and compliance with international law as a means for cultural, social and economic growth.
ILA Italy è la sezione italiana della International Law Association (ILA), una organizzazione non governativa i cui scopi istituzionali sono la diffusione e lo sviluppo del diritto internazionale, sia pubblico che privato.
ILA riunisce i professionisti coinvolti dal diritto internazionale nel mondo, compresi i settori della mediazione, magistratura, accademia, impresa, e delle organizzazioni internazionali, governative e non.
ILA Italy è stata fondata nel 1925 e i suoi organi sono il Presidente, il Segretario Generale e il Comitato Direttivo.
Oltre a collaborare con le altre sezioni nazionali per il raggiungimento dei fini ILA, la sezione italiana è impegnata nell’organizzazione di iniziative di formazione volte a promuovere la conoscenza e l’osservanza del diritto internazionale come strumento di crescita culturale, sociale ed economica.
