In this age of information ℹ️ there are too many voices 📣 and from it misinformation continues to tear our families, countries, and cultures apart. It's time to collectively do something about it. 🧲 Illuminate 💡 was created to save mankind from information overload and echo chambers. We do this by curating for every user the "golden information" or in other words the media snippets that are the most concise, accurate and relevant. We are a social media platform that leverages the power of crowdsourcing and machine learning to boil down and organize an ocean of information 🌊 into only the freshwater each unique person needs. But how does it work? 🧐 We offer an easy-to-use plugin for the everyday person to save small chunks of video, articles, ebooks, etc. and attach a note, a category and/or a question; so it can be stored personally and/or shared socially on our platform. Here users can explore and annotate other users’ snippets with bump-ups, bump-downs and ongoing threads to respond, add to or challenge the information. We give the power back to the people. From here, we use machine learning to organize the snippets based on conciseness, accuracy and user relevance. Our whole platform is founded on creating a space for responsible media consumption. 💪
