A Image Pesquisas Sementes e Plantas foi idealizada pela pesquisadora Haynna Fernandes Abud, ciente de que pesquisas direcionadas ao setor agrícola apresentam uma alta demanda, considerando que há necessidade de informações técnicas e científicas que podem solucionar necessidades internas de empresas, realizou-se uma proposta de incubação de StartUp, no Parque de Desenvolvimento Tecnológico (PADETEC), localizado junto a Universidade Federal do Ceará. A abertura ofcial da empresa ocorreu em 03 de outubro de 2019, sendo constituída de um Laboratório de Desenvolvimento de Tecnologia, Laboratório de Análise de Sementes e Laboratório de Análise de Imagens, cuja atividade principal é a realização de pesquisas técnico-científicas, na área de Tecnologia de Sementes.
