Mission: To increase access to age-appropriate books and promote kindergarten readiness
We invite ALL families with children under 5 in Denver County to enroll in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
We are the Denver affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. We provide brand new, age appropriate books mailed directly to the child's home each month until the child's 5th birthday. We work to get books into the hands of children to foster a love of books and reading. Research shows that simply having books in the home and being read to is the most critical determinant of a successful school career.
The Dollywood Foundation helps subsidize the cost of books, and with a partnership with Penguin Publishing, 12 books each year cost approximately $25.00.
