Impregnation Services specialises in providing sub surface treatments that overcome porosity in castings.
Used as a recovery or quality enhancement process (impregnation is known to greatly reduce corrosion, efflorescence and blistering in components that are later painted or electroplated). Processed components are ‘sealed for life’ using thermo-cure or air cure resins with physical and chemical properties equivalent to those of the cast parts.
Impregnation Services run two high capacity Vacuum process lines enabling them to respond quickly reliably to both contract and one off jobs. Site services by arrangement.
