Industrial Mathematics Students' Association (IMSA) is a society where the mathematics students of the Faculty of Applied Science, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka gathered to improve their knowledge of mathematics and mathematical applications with the collaboration of industry as well as dedicated to promoting and fostering the field of industrial mathematics among students. IMSA brings together students with a common interest in applying mathematical principles to real-world industrial problems and challenges.
IMSA serves as a platform for students to connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals who share an interest in industrial mathematics. It encourages the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among members. We aim to raise awareness about the importance and relevance of industrial mathematics among students and the wider academic community. It organizes outreach programs, seminars, and presentations to showcase the impact of mathematics in various industries.
By actively engaging students in activities and initiatives related to industrial mathematics, IMSA strives to create a vibrant community that fosters learning, collaboration, and innovation. It serves as a bridge between academia and industry, preparing students for successful careers in industrial mathematics and related fields.
